Child and Adolescent Postdoc at the University of Florida Department of Psychiatry in Jacksonville

The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville announces the availability of one postdoctoral fellowship position in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology within the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) in the Department of Psychiatry. The anticipated start date is flexible.

 

The one-year fellowship will involve seeing general outpatient cases within the CAP clinic with a focus on providing evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy modalities working with patients across the lifespan (ages 2-25; toddler to transition-age youth) that experience a range of mental health concerns and diagnoses, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma exposure, life threatening behaviors, disruptive behaviors, and family relationship distress. The fellow will receive training and supervision in both general clinical child and adolescent psychology, as well as specialized rotations in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Fellows will participate in outpatient psychological assessment and have the opportunity to participate in clinical research.
